Executive Protection Systems (EPS) was founded in November 2001.
At that time, the need was apparent for an experienced and knowledgeable all-hazards emergency preparedness company to help establish operational readiness plans, procedures, and product procurement for corporations as well as government agencies thus Executive Protection Systems was born. Founded by Michael Guevremont, a service disabled veteran and Mark Miller. Both of whom had done military tours in support of the President of The United States. In the beginning the company started out as strictly a consulting firm preparing its first clients, a Defense agency, with consulting services on sheltering in place and emergency evacuation procedures.
As February 2002 approached the country was gearing up for war and everyone was terrified of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The phones became flooded with calls for tactical gas masks and suits for civilian clients. To mitigate consumers fears the two consultants spent countless hours on the phone explaining how best to protect each client that called not by just selling them what they asked for but actually educating them and selling them only what they needed or selling them nothing at all if it wasn’t necessary. The company began to grow because of this integrity and care for its clients. Soon the two consultants found the need to add a product sales arm and added Darla Frye-Guevremont to its ownership team. She brought with her a wealth of sales and marketing experience.
Since that time the company has grown into a multifaceted corporation that provides distribution of high quality safety products, lifecycle management of emergency assets, Chemical, biological, radiological, sensor placement consulting networking and training, Medical support in the form of AED’s, Medical oversight, Mass casualty training, CPR/AED/First Aid and Basic Life Support Training, Pandemic preparedness and a Communications and Technology division connecting all of the emergency preparedness pieces together.
