Howe Joins Executive Protection Systems as Chief Financial Officer
Winchester, VA (January 19, 2005)—Executive Protection Systems (EPS), a leading turnkey provider of emergency preparedness solutions, equipment and training, today named Steven D. Howe, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Howe joins the company effective immediately and will be located at the Company’s corporate headquarters in Winchester, Virginia.
Howe, 41, will be responsible for EPS's corporate finance and accounting. He will also be a member of EPS's executive leadership team, which is responsible for the strategic direction of the company.
"Steve brings a wealth of knowledge to the job of CFO," said Mark A. Miller, EPS Chairman and President. "His depth of experience in finance, business improvement and restructuring made him a natural choice."
Prior to joining EPS, Howe was the director of operations for Bird Machine Company of Massachusetts, a subsidiary of Baker Hughes Incorporated. He is a graduate of the University of Bradford, England and has over 18 years of international business expertise in sales, engineering, finance and operations management.
