Executive Protection Systems (EPS) and Valley AIRNow honor Art contest winners.
The first place award recipient received a brand new bike and helmet donated by EPS executives. This year’s first place award winner was: Sophia Dorsey. Sophia is a third grade student at Powhatan. The second place winner was Bailey Taylor, grade four, and the third place winner was Allison Ward, grade kindergarten.
"We are confident that this award will help instill clean air practices for all the students who participated, especially this artistically talented winner," said Mike Guevremont, CEO of Executive Protection Systems. "This art contest underscores EPS's commitment to the Winchester/Frederick County Community as well as excellence in the importance of the arts in education."
Valley AIRCorps is the business outreach program that creates and nurtures clean air partnerships with Winchester-Frederick County businesses, spreads the word about our air quality challenges, and provides valuable public health networking. Valley AIRNow offers customized, educational classroom presentations and discussions. The team has a variety of educational tools available to provide an interactive learning experience for students of all ages.
