Executive Protection Systems (EPS) Mike Guevremont Named 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year
Winchester, VA (February 2, 2007)—Mike Guevremont, President and CEO of Executive Protection Systems – a leading turnkey provider of emergency preparedness solutions, equipment and training, was recognized for his business achievements with the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year award by the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber at their awards gala held on Friday, January 26th, 2007.
According to Barry Lee of WINC-FM and the Master of Ceremonies, the Regional Greater Good Award recipient for the Entrepreneur of the Year goes to an individual that truly epitomizes the many qualities it takes to be an entrepreneur. “What started only five years ago in a garage located in Frederick County with a few boxes of product, an idea and passion in his soul—has grown to a business with a full-time staff of 25 and 5 part-time consultants,” explained Lee. “In 2005, EPS sold over $4 million dollars in products and services and by the end of 2006 had sold approximately $26 million dollars in products and services.”
