Executive Protection Systems (EPS) Appoints Thompson
To Head New Midwest Sales Division
Winchester, VA (June 14, 2007)—Executive Protection Systems (EPS), a leading turnkey provider of emergency preparedness solutions, equipment and training, recently announced the appointment of Anna Thompson, as its Midwest Regional Sales Manager for its newly created Midwest Sales Division.
Thompson joins EPS with over 20 years of sales, business development and marketing experience. In her previous position with Essex PB&R Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri, Thompson was responsible for maintaining existing military contacts, and development and implementation of new account strategies for sales growth. During her tenure with Essex, she was also responsible for the development of a distribution network and sales throughout China and India.
“Anna also has an extensive background in government contracting and procurement including GSA Schedule contracting which makes her the top candidate to head our new Midwest Sales Division,” said Darla Frye-Guevremont, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Winchester, Virginia based company. “Also with the appointment of Anna, we’re proud to announce our newly formed Midwest Sales Division,” added Frye-Guevremont.
According to Guevremont, EPS has experienced a tremendous amount of growth and expanding their offerings into the Midwest region is a natural progression. According to Thompson, she’s excited about joining EPS and introducing their specialized safety products and programs into the Midwest. “Bringing EPS into the Midwest will place those clients in the same category of protection and safety as those in DC—who we all consider to be most knowledgeable in protection needs,” said Thompson. “I couldn't be more pleased to work with such a wonderful team and appreciate the opportunity given to me by the EPS management.”
Thompson is a graduate of Lindenwood University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communications with an understudy in Business Law.
