Executive Protection Systems (EPS) honors Mascot contest winners.
Winchester, VA (June 30, 2008)—Executive Protection Systems (EPS), a leading turnkey provider of emergency preparedness solutions, equipment and training, today honored the winner of EPS’s search for a corporate mascot. The mascot contest was designed to aid EPS in finding a way to reach out to the community to raise awareness with students and the community at large about the importance of safety and the impact being prepared can have on saving a life.
The contest was open to all of the local school systems and 4 schools art classes responded. The winner was chosen based on votes cast on the epssafety.com website for their favorite drawing. The contest winner’s picture will be transformed into an actual suit for a lucky EPS employee to wear to community safety events.
The first place award recipient was Kaye Whitacre an eighth grade student at James Wood Middle School. Kaye received a $100 gift certificate and James Wood Middle School won a large first Aid kit donated by EPS executives. The second runner up Abby Hodgson was from the Winchester Academy she won a $50 gift certificate and a first aid kit was donated to the school. All students that participated were awarded a certificate of appreciation and their schools received gift cards for art supplies.
