Cooper Notification Announces MNS Channel Partnership with Executive Protection Systems
Executive Protection Systems expands to include Cooper Notification’s Mass Notification Systems

SARASOTA, Fla., November 3, 2008 – Cooper Notification, a platform of Cooper Industries, Ltd., (NYSE:CBE) announced today that Executive Protection Systems (EPS), based in Winchester, Va., has signed an agreement with Cooper Notification to be a Mass Notification System (MNS) Channel Partner.  As a MNS Channel Partner, EPS, a leading provider of emergency preparedness solutions, will be able to offer their customers the entire line of Cooper Notification’s MNS solutions, including WAVES (Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System) outdoor High Power Speaker Arrays, SAFEPATHTM indoor voice evacuation system and the Roam Secure Alert Network™ (RSAN™) emergency text and voice alerting.

Executive Protection Systems partnered with Cooper Notification because the company’s Communications Division, a turn-key provider of security and audio visual products, wanted to expand its product offerings for EPS’ wide range of industrial, government and college campus customers.

“In order to better serve our clients, we needed a reliable solution that could notify a lot of people in real-time of exactly what to do before, during and after an emergency,” said Darla Frye-Guevremont Chief Operating Officer, Executive Protection Systems.  “What better way to accomplish this, than to partner with the leading mass notification system supplier, Cooper Notification.”

“We are proud that Executive Protection Systems has partnered with us,” said Ratna Reddi, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Cooper Notification. “As a MNS Channel Partner, EPS joins a growing number of companies that are taking advantage of the opportunity to grow their business through education and sales of mass notification solutions.” MNS Channel Partners will be provided with access to Cooper’s MNS product line, industry technical experts, training certification program, marketing and sales support.
