Executive Protection Systems (EPS) Awards Both Utz and Leo with Employee of the Year

Winchester, VA (December 18, 2006)—Executive Protection Systems (EPS), a leading turnkey provider of emergency preparedness solutions, equipment and training, recently announced Anne Marie Utz and Kerry J. Leo as the recipients of their coveted Employee of the Year Award.
Anne Marie Utz is the sales manager for the EPS Safety Store and Kerry J. Leo is the Director of Business Communications and Continuity. Under their leadership, both divisions have seen immense growth throughout 2006.
“The Employee of the Year Award is presented to an employee who demonstrates an exceptional work ethic and whose contributions effect the company as a whole,” said Mike Guevremont, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Winchester, Virginia based company. “For 2006, we’re proud to name two employees, a first time for us, as Employees of the Year.”
According to Guevremont, both Utz and Leo had raised the bar when it comes to their dedication. Both experienced some major changes in their departments and continued to work hard to increase the production and sales in their respective divisions. “We just couldn’t name one for the sake of having one winner. Anne Marie and Kerry equally deserve to be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments,” said Guevremont. “Through their hard work and determination, it was obvious that they are committed to EPS and always keep the company’s best interest in mind.”
“In one year’s time and due to the diligence of Anne Marie, the EPS Safety Store has experienced unprecedented sales growth of 119%,” added Guevremont. “She consistently carries out additional responsibilities and gains additional company recognition through her own volunteer work as an ambassador with the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, as co-chair of the Young Professional Group as well as co-chair of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Safety Network.”
According to Guevremont, Kerry Leo has added that same level of growth to EPS. “Kerry has had a major impact on our company and completely developed an entire new business unit for EPS. He has secured high profile contracts that have given EPS a great platform for referrals and visibility—and continues to build his unit with staff and expertise which in-turn builds our presence in the community,” explained Guevremont.
As Employee of the Year winners, both Utz and Kerry received a prime parking space in front of corporate headquarters, an executive desk clock, their names added to the company plaque, an additional paid vacation day, and cash award.
