EPS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Eugene Guevremont Memorial Scholarship Program

This program is designed to foster support for students choosing to pursue advanced degrees in any field. The award recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship. The qualifications for applicants are listed below.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Please print and follow these instructions step by step to ensure we receive your completed application.

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY!

Step 1.)  Please make sure that you meet the following eligibility requirements:

Applicants:
  • Must be nominated by a high school teacher or administrator (see nomination guidlines)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and live in the Northern Shenandoah Valley
  • Must have demonstrated academic success (with a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must have engaged in community service within the previous 12 months as validated by your nominator either in the community or employed full or part-time
  • Must be planning to enroll in at least two courses during the next term at a minimum of a two-year institution

Step 2.)  Complete Parts I, II and III below.

Step 3.)  Submit Application.
